Fiver

Chipping Proximity to Hole - Multiplayer

Fiver is my favorite game to play with mates around the short game area. It’s perfect for when there are three or more people.

Equipment Needed

1 Golf ball per person

The Set Up

There is no structured set up to this game. You will continuously be changing positions during this game.

How to Score

1. Start by playing a game of rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to choose the first hole.

2. Whoever selects the hole hits the first shot. Alternate turns after that.

3. If you select the hole, you get to decide whether to drop the balls or place the balls.

4. You score 1-point if your ball is closest to the pin.

5. You score 2-points if you make it in the hole.

6. The furthest ball from the pin loses 1-point.

7. The middle ball scores 0-points.

8. Any time your shot misses the green, you lose 1-point.

9. OVERRIDING RULE: Your score can’t go below 0-points.

10. First to 5-points wins.

Be sure to use your pre-shot routine on each putt. Remember, “Practice like you play, Practice like a champion, Play like a champion!”
