The Grip Pressure Scale

How tight (or loose) you should be holding onto the club

The grip pressure scale describes how firmly you should hold the club.

It is said that your pressure should be at a 4 on a 1-10 scale.

What is a 4 out of 10?

Think of the pressure you would grip a steering wheel. You don't hold the wheel so tight that your arms would fatigue or can't smoothly turn a corner.

You also don't grip so lightly that your car would deviate if you hit a pothole.

Hold on, but

Your hold on the club is such that it couldn't be pulled from your hands.

However, your wrists are relaxed enough to waggle the club.

Congratulations on making it through The Grip! Grip issues tend to be repeat offenders that keep coming back, so come back and review this section every so often!
